EMS Stroke Task Force

The EMS Stroke Task Force’s goal was to develop and coordinate training for EMS providers on issues related to stroke. It met from 2007-2009. The Task Force, which was comprised of EMTs, first responders, and health care planners, developed a unique training conference workshop and on-line videotape focused on the EMTs role in stroke diagnosis and treatment.

EMS Response to Stroke is a FREE one-hour course worth 1.0 Continuing Education Units (CEU) for EMTs and Paramedics in Minnesota. After completing the course online you will receive a Certificate of Completion.
