Future EMS Training Events
The Task Force created a professional education training module called EMS Response to Stroke in 2007. The module is designed for EMS educators. It was pilot tested at the Minnesota State Colleges & Universities' EMS Coordinators' Meeting in September 2007 and feedback was positive. The Task Force is now working with EMS conference planners statewide, to find ways to include this training module in future events. For more information about this presentation, and possible collaborative partnerships, please contact Elizabeth Gardner at the Minnesota Department of Health at (651) 204-5411 or elizabeth.gardner@state.mn.us. The EMS Response to Stroke Presentation will be given at the upcoming Northwest EMS Conference, October 4, 2008 in Mahnomen, Minnesota.

For details about this conference, visit the Northwest EMS website.
